Surgery

Makayla had tubes put in her ears this morning. She did very well! We arrived at the outpatient center at 8:30 and she was ready by 9:30. I [Jen] was able to go back to the operating room with her. It took just a few minutes for her to go to sleep from the gas mask.
Twenty minutes later she was awake and hungry!

She wasn't sure what to think, but she still did well. She never even cried when the nurse took her blood pressure.
"Mommy looked silly with her gown on and hair covered."

We are glad this is over and Makayla is on the road to recovery and hopefully NO MORE PAINFUL EAR INFECTIONS! So far she has been playing and back to her normal funny self. She definitely is walking now. That's all she wants to do! Yea Makayla!
