Scott and Makayla took a quick trip to the zoo on Friday while Scott got his car worked on. She looks like she had a good time with her daddy while mommy was at work.
Last year she was terrified to sit on the animals. Now now!

Memorial Weekend
We spent the weekend at the Fort Wayne Zoo. Scott's family joined us. This was Makayla's second trip to the zoo. We took her last Labor Day. She enjoyed it even more this time since her cousins were with us. The weather was great. We had a fun day.
Grandmom and Papaw A. pose with the three grandkids: Madison, Noah, and Makayla. Makayla and Noah are together four days a week. They squeal whenever they see each other.

Jen and Makayla ride the carousel. Makayla wasn't too sure about the moving animal. She didn't cry but she didn't smile either.
Makayla has fun laying in a hammock. It's not as easy as it looks!
Our favorite animal was the peacock. We loved seeing the bright colors.
