Easter morning began with Makayla discovering her Easter basket. She saw the Little People bus right away and wanted to play rather than take her morning bottle. She also got a new board book and a stuffed rabbit.
Plastic eggs were a hit with Makayla. What cheap entertainment! She played with them for several days until Mommy put them away.

As you can see, Easter eggs belong in the bus, not people. After some playtime, we all got dressed in our Easter best and went to church. The highlight of the service for Jen was the song, "I've Just Seen Jesus," sung by Lori and Andy. It was awesome and sent chills down my back.
Makayla also received gifts from both sets of grandparents (but of course I forgot my camera!) She got a new outfit and a stuffed chick from Grandma and Grandpa W.

Grandmom and Papaw A. spoiled her with two electronic toys and Gerber snacks. Makayla is blessed to have both grandparents so close.
