We celebrated big last Saturday! We started out with a nice dinner of fried chicken, green beans, macaroni, and other yummy dishes. Next we played a video of Makayla's first year, edited by Scott. Then it was time for cake and ice cream. Presents were last. In between events, the older children enjoyed playing in an air-filled jumper with a slide. They had a blast!
The theme of the party was Baby Einstein. Grandma A. made a beautiful cake. She is so talented!

Balloons were everywhere! We had about 50 guests that helped us celebrate.
What a happy family.
Makayla really got into opening her presents.

Hey guys! Sorry I never leave comments, I do love to check your blog, though. (: Just thought I'd finally say hi. Makayla is SO cute, you two look like you're loving parenthood! David and I are jumping into it ourselves... I'm 19 1/2 wks. and due Aug. 1 with a little boy. (: Laura is pregnant again, too, also a little boy - due three weeks before me.
