Makayla has a new toy. She is very curious about the lights and music. She will kick her feet and flail her arms while staring at the lights. It gives Mommy and Daddy a brief break from trying to entertain her. And then she's right back to crying again! Our arms are sore, our backs are sore and our bodies are fatigued. When will this stage pass? She's a cutie but she sure has some lungs. We still love her.

Jen, I'm sure that as she gets a little bit older and can see better, can move, can sit up more, etc. she'll become happier. It's so hard to deal with the days of crying but trust me - they'll be over sooner than you wish! And then all you'll remember was that you made it through and that you kinda recall her crying!
Ashlynn cried for her first 6 months to a year - I know that because everyone talks about it but I don't remember any of it really.
I'm just rambling - just wanted to tell you that it'll be over before you know it!
I just sent you an email at your school acct. about the shower - when you get a chance let me know. Thanks!
Something I have done when I know there really is nothing wrong (diaper is clean, they are fed, not sick, not tired, etc...) is put them in the crib or playpen and walk outside for a few minutes for a fresh breath of air and a quick pick me up prayer and then I come back in and face the music!! Another idea: does she like to be in a baby carrier or sling that you could wear and carry her around? May save some on the arms!! Just an idea. Hang in there. Before you know it, she'll be heading off to preschool and you will wonder where all the time went!!
